BSA Troop 387 Serving Overland Park

With over 50 years of service Troop 387 has supported hundreds of youth from our community in the search for personal growth and excellence.  During that time 387 has sponsored over 190 young men in reaching the rank of Eagle Scout and provided thousands of hours of community service.  We strive to give our Scouts an experience and skill set that will serve them and the communities they go on to build and support for years to come.

Troop 387 is composed of youth from your neighborhood and the surrounding area (Prairie Village, Leawood, Overland Park, Mission and Northern Johnson County, KS) and meets year round at our charter organization facility Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church at 93rd and Nall.  Our troop welcomes boys of all denominations and offers a structured, safe, fun and enlightening experience in Scouting.

We attend H. Roe Bartle Summer camp every summer to participate in the Scouting adventure and spirit as well as merit badges, shooting sports, canoeing and summer fun.  Mic-O-Say tribal membership is a one of the Scouting experiences encouraged within our troop.  A listing of our tribesman reveals a long association with the program.

Philmont High adventure camping crews are trained and dispatched every other year  as well as high adventure outings such as Boundary Waters canoeing.  If you seek fun, adventure, camping, canoeing, backpacking and long lasting skills and memories please join us at any meeting to see if 387 is a match for you!
